Many Kootenai County property owners have stated that they were never informed nor made aware that all new zoning & land use ordinances, codes, and enforcement provisions were being created under a document labeled the ULUC. Many said they were also not informed about the rewriting of the Comprehensive Plan.
This massive ordinance and code book will become the law of our land, but it will only be enforced upon unincorporated (rural) property owners. Kootenai County Republican Legislative Committee is hosting an informative and highly educational overview of the countywide rezoning and code process and why you as property owners should be concerned.
Ask yourself, is it worth a couple hours of your time to learn about the new zoning and codes that will soon be forced upon your use of your property? Your neighbors put on this event because they feel you need to know. If you own property in Kootenai County, you should not miss attending this ULUC Information Event.
