Attend KCRCC Meetings
The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC) convenes on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Kootenai County Administration Building, located at 451 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene. Meetings start promptly at 7:00 p.m. and typically last several hours. PCs are expected to attend every monthly meeting.Arrange for a Proxy
If you cannot attend a meeting, you may authorize another PC to vote on your behalf. To do so, submit a completed proxy form to the secretary before the meeting begins.Prepare Thoroughly
Review all materials sent prior to each meeting. This includes the agenda, minutes from the previous meeting, proposed resolutions, and other relevant documents that will be discussed, debated, and voted on.Communicate with Constituents
A primary responsibility of a PC is to engage with neighbors in their precinct throughout the year, especially during election seasons. This involves canvassing the precinct and distributing candidate literature.Support KCRCC Events and Activities
PCs are encouraged to volunteer and participate in various events such as the Lincoln Day Dinner, town halls, parades, the fair booth, and other activities that promote the committee’s mission.Study the Idaho Republican Party Platform
The Idaho GOP Platform embodies the core principles of the party. PCs should familiarize themselves with it to effectively understand and communicate conservative values.Stay Informed About Your Precinct
PCs should keep up to date with local developments and be knowledgeable about candidates running for office, as they play a role in vetting potential candidates.Understand the Commitment
Serving as a Precinct Committee Member is a voluntary position that requires dedication. PCs contribute their time, talents, and energy in service of liberty and the community.
